Moffitt Discovery and Innovation Center at Speros

With a focus on interdisciplinary research, this new research building on the Speros FL campus will provide state-of-the-art research space for Cancer Biology, Drug Discovery, and Biological Engineering to advance discoveries to understand and cure cancer. The Center will boast robust core BSL-2 labs and a vivarium, allowing Moffitt to attract top talent. Supported by these core labs and vivarium, researchers will work in a highly flexible and collaborative research environment to accelerate discovery. Tsoi Kobus Design is concurrently designing a cutting-edge therapeutic cancer center that will combine ambulatory care with proton therapy, photon therapy, medical oncology, and imaging.

These will be the first two buildings on the 775-acre Speros, FL campus—a Global Innovation Center that ultimately will feature over 16 million square feet of lab, office, manufacturing, and clinical space. These signature buildings will anchor the campus and catalyze growth.
