Moffitt Ambulatory Clinic (MAC) and Proton Therapy Unit

The 111,800 sf Moffitt Ambulatory Clinic and Proton Therapy Unit (MAC+PTU) will be a state-of-the-art therapeutic center combining outpatient care with proton therapy, photon therapy, medical oncology, and imaging. The facility will be at the forefront of translational research and therapeutic technology, and will provide revolutionary cancer treatment.

The building massing expresses three distinct volumes, creating visual interest and a dynamic architectural aesthetic. The grand entry canopy and two-story open lobby with views through the building to the outdoor landscape offer an inviting and impressive entrance, improving the overall user experience and satisfaction.

This is one of the first two buildings being designed by Tsoi Kobus Design on the new 775 acre “Speros” campus and together with the Moffitt Discovery and Innovation Center at Speros, a 250,000 sf research building, will be a flagship presence. These signature buildings will anchor the campus and catalyze growth.
