Forest City Enterprises | Penn School of Medicine

Center for Translational Medicine, Philadelphia, PA

Using a unique developer/institutional delivery model, this partnership between Forest City Enterprises and the University of Pennsylvania created the Center for Translational Research for the School of Medicine. This renovation and addition transformed a historic building once used for manufacturing transformers into a state-of-the-art research facility. Developed as part of the campus master plan, the project is intended to create a new neighborhood of research, housing, street-level retail, commercial, academic, and recreational facilities.
