This developer-owned, speculative, core and shell research building provides leading-edge chemistry, biochemistry, molecular modeling and computational research and office space on a prominent site in Boston's rapidly expanding Innovation District. The project is part of the Fallon Company'ws 21-acre Fan Pier development that transformed nine city blocks of parking lots into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood. Tsoi Kobus Design designed the Master Plan to meet approved massing requirements while providing a signature identity for Vertex Pharmaceuticals. The flexible core-shell design supports highly collaborative, interdisciplinary research to speed small molecule drug delivery.
